about me

I've never been a huge fan of talking about myself, but when you're looking for someone to document your special moments in life, it's nice to know a bit about the person.  Are they funny? Yes! Are they going to put me up against a tree with my hands cupping my face? Heck no! These are the important questions that pop into my head when I think about working with anyone....well maybe not the tree, but you never know.

I feel it's very important to connect with my clients from the very beginning.  I want to get to know who you (both) are and what your vision is and what you feel comfortable and not comfortable doing.  The more I know, the better I can do my job! I want you to feel at ease and trust my direction.  Yes, I love documenting candid moments, but let's face it, not all moments are like that.  Some people need a little guidance and direction, and that's ok.  I'm there to help in those moments to put you both at ease and keep the moments flowing in a natural way.

I'm constantly pushing myself to learn and grow my photography skills each and every year so I can deliver the best images to my clients.  I'm not one for changing my style due to new trends but rather contour my skills better to produce high-quality images that can be enjoyed for generations to come.  I love to photograph people and their connections and love for one another.

I'm fortunate to travel around New England to photograph weddings and portraits.  Berkshire County , Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, and Boston are some lovely places I've been able to travel to and I hope to expand my travel this year.  I've also been fortunate to have been published online by some lovely wedding blogs such as; Wedding Chicks, Vermont Bride, Weddings Boston, Glittery Bride, A Paper Proposal, Vermont Bride Magazine, and Borrowed and Blue.  I've also had some lovely online reviews written about my services and you should check them out on Wedding Wire and The Knot.

Lastly, I really love my family and two amazing little boys.  Yes, I torture them about every three months with a photoshoot that lasts a whopping 5 mintues and I cross my fingers that I get ONE good one for a frame.  They are, of course, the hardest to document but I always like a challenge!
