Family is everything...especially when you have a very small family like we do. My brother came for a short visit from NYC so we could hang out and take some photos of these crazy guys together. I always knew he would be a wonderful uncle and sure enough, he is. The boys love having him and Wyatt now would like to live next to him in Brooklyn when he's older. We'll see about that!
I had the honor of traveling to Milford, MA to take sweet newborn pictures of Miss Lily Mae this winter. She won my heart immediately and her precious chubby cheeks made my day. Newborn photography can be tricky, so props are extremely helpful since these little munchkins can't sit up on their own. I'm a sucker for a weathered basket or vintage crate. I strive for simplicity when it comes to photographer newborn sessions. I love to use a neutral, textured blanket as a background....it not only adds obvious warmth to the baby, but it also adds dimension to the image. Those are just a few tips of what I like to use. I'm always looking for the next innovative ways to document these adorable cherubs. I can't wait to see you grow, little lady.
I am so fortunate that I not only get to photograph some of my very good friends' weddings, but I also get to document their growing families, too! I really love these two people. We decided to go to Mt. Hope to photograph Bart and Lisa's maternity session and some family shots with their fur-baby, Zukie, too. It's really a special place and since I had photographed their engagement session there, I thought it would the perfect place to do these pictures. I can't wait to meet "minivan" and I know you both will be amazing parents. Love!!!!
